Couples Therapy

Couples therapy, also known as marriage or relationship counselling, is a form of psychotherapy that is designed to help couples address and resolve problems in their relationship.

The goals of couples therapy may include improving communication and conflict resolution skills, exploring and resolving underlying issues and patterns of behaviour that may be contributing to relationship problems, rebuilding trust and intimacy, and developing a stronger and more satisfying relationship.

Couples therapy can be beneficial for couples dealing with a wide range of issues, including infidelity, communication problems, sexual issues, financial conflicts, parenting disagreements, and more. During couples therapy sessions, the therapist may use a variety of techniques and strategies, such as active listening, role-playing exercises, and homework assignments, to help the couple work through their issues and improve their relationship.

Couples therapy may be short-term or long-term, depending on the specific needs and goals of the couple.
